Day 1 :

Arrival at Simbavati

Begin your journey in Johannesburg with a flight from OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred into the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve to Simbavati River Lodge, where you’ll spend five days exploring the Kruger bushveld.

Upon arrival you'll notice the incredible setting along the Nhlaralumi River, the lodge offers luxury safari tents with private decks overlooking the river or bush, creating a relaxed, wildlife-rich setting.

After settling in, you'll enjoy a private guided game drive in the Timbavati Game Reserve, which includes a sundowner stop. After the evening game drive, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and a boma session under the stars.

Day 2 - 4 :

On Safari at Simbavati

For 3 days you'll enjoy morning and evening game drives, giving you plenty of time to spot the Big 5 and other wildlife. There are over 360 species of bird and 40 mammals to spot in the reserve, as well as the elusive white lions from the Giraffe Pride.

During the morning game drive there's a coffee stop and during the evening drive you'll always stop for a sundowner drink to celebrate golden hour. After drive, you'll settle down to a lavish dinner under the stars or in the dining area. Most safari-goers retire to the boma area to sit around the campfire and chat about the day's sightings.

Day 5 :

Final Game Drive and Departure

After a whirlwind safari, with ample time to take in the reserve’s diverse wildlife, you’ll head out on your final game drive before bidding farewell to Simbavati River Lodge.
