Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is a 60,000 hectare reserve located close to the Hoedspruit/Eastgate airport, making it easily accessible for self-drivers. The Klaserie shares unfenced borders with the Timbavati and the Kruger National Park, and is known for its prolific lion prides. The Klaserie River cuts through terrain characterised by Acacia savanna and Mopane woodland, providing a much needed source of water for wildlife. This is an uncrowded reserve with iconic Kruger bush camps and predominantly mid-range lodges, but also boasts a collection of luxury lodges. A standout highlight? Over the years, white lions have been spotted in the reserve; having wandered over from the Timbavati.
